Norman Regional Health System Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Mother/Baby - FT - Nights in Norman, Oklahoma
Our Team provides comprehensive care to Moms and Babies. We focus our efforts on restoring optimal physical, emotional, and mental well-being in each unique situation with a constant goal of maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patient population. We have a 26 bed unit and enjoy caring for postpartum women and their newborns greater than 35 weeks gestation.

- Assists patients with activities or daily living (ADLs) and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
High School diploma or equivalent GED.
Certification as a nursing assistant or 6 months of recent experience as a nursing assistant.
Six (6) months of recent experience as a nursing assistant.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or one clinical semester of nursing school or successful completion of an acute care nurse aide course; or six (6) months previous experience in a healthcare position can be substituted for the experience.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to remain current throughout duration of employment.
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
$13.21-$21.58/hr depending on previous work experience.
Shift and weekend differentials.
