Job Description

In this technical role you will work collaboratively with IT functions to conceive, design, engineer, and implement, endpoint technology solutions. Investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-art endpoint technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains within Infrastructure and throughout multiple business areas. Contribute to advancement of technology in area of expertise. Develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and documents strategic deployment of innovative endpoint solutions. Provides technical leadership and expertise to enhance endpoint protection strategies in collaboration with Information Security team.

  • Troubleshoots escalated issues and participates in major incident management to help resolve complex endpoint issues quickly.

  • Engages with stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities and analyzes complex and diverse data to identify root causes and create solutions. Understands and utilizes best practices for problem solving and sound decision-making.

  • Analyzes and initiates innovative technology solutions, and continually develops skills, knowledge, and abilities in endpoint technologies. Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and makes recommendations on adoption.

  • Responsible for all work assigned to ensure completion of tasks with proper communication to stakeholders, leadership, and clients.

  • Provides technical leadership and mentoring to other endpoint engineering resources which includes planning, methods, procedures, standards, and best practices.

  • Understands and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, and data security.

Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with delivery of new endpoint technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience; PhD with 0 years’ experience.

  • Possess thorough theoretical and practical understanding of own discipline

  • Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business.

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Technology requirements:

  • Exceptional understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, etc.).

  • Extensive experience with desktop engineering concepts including registry editing, command-line utilities and more.

  • Extensive experience with back-end engineering tools used to deploy to lab and desktop workstations (InTune, SCCM, AutoPatch, AutoPilot, CSP).

  • Extensive experience with physical devices, as well as device management, active directory, anti-virus, firewall, and other security tools. Scripting language experience (Powershell, Windows Batch, VBScript, Unix shell, etc.).

  • Excellent technical documentation, collaboration, and written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and solutions in non-technical, business-friendly terms.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with proven ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects at once, based on importance, urgency, and alignment to the organizations strategic objectives.
