Job Description
Keep work area, lobby & conference rooms neat and organized.
Patient Services Agents are responsible for supporting and assisting other Patient Services Agents.
Patient Service Agents IIIs are responsible for supporting, training and assisting other Patient Service Agents to grow and develop in their careers. Also, Patient Service Agent IIs should assist Patient Service Agent Is in a similar manner.
Answer all incoming calls in a pleasant and professional manner, route to the appropriate person and/or take message.
Smile while on the phone and when greeting patients and other customers.
Demonstrate care, concern and courtesy when interacting with all internal or external customers.
Display warm and pleasant personality, emphasizing tact, empathy and patience. 8. Assists patients with insurance questions and navigating and problem solving issues over the phone.
Display professionalism, good judgment, maturity and fairness when interacting with others.
Handles assignments, meeting all given deadlines or escalates issues if need arises.
Stays busy during quiet times in front, e.g. sort paperwork, collate mail, encounter data.
Adheres to company policy regarding unauthorized use of Internet for personal gains during work hours.
Any other projects as requested by administration.
Know location of Policy and Procedure and Communication books and be familiar with contents.
Assist Supervisor with special duties/projects.
Performs all other duties as directed by management.
Work Environment
Working onsite at the clinic in a fast-paced environment, handling 20-40 patients daily depending on the site. Team collaboration is essential, and the primary demographic is Spanish-speaking patients.
Work Site
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (weekends as needed).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
