Confidential Employer Residential Interior Journeyman in North Wales, Pennsylvania

Volpe Enterprises is a full-service/design-build, complete home remodeling company that has been in business since 1970. We are looking for a Residential Interior Journeyman to join our Production team in North Wales PA. The Journeyman Carpenter position exists to build, install, and repair structures, fixtures, and other items using different types of materials including but not limited to wood and steel with the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities: ? Accurately measure height, width, length, and other proportions. ? Ability to read and understand blueprints. ? Basic material take-off to ensure proper material selection and quantity needed. ? Perform proper layouts for assigned projects. ? Move building materials to the proper work area as necessary. ? Take direction from Management and Foremen and at times work independently and unsupervised. ? Work with materials such as but not limited to wood, metal, plastic, fiberglass, and/or drywall. ? Utilize appropriate tools and materials to build or repair structural components. ? Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives. ? Acquire the necessary personal tools such as but not limited to levels, framing squares, hand tools, and necessary saws to perform your daily tasks. ? Check work along the way to ensure it meets specification and quality standards. ? Construct walls, ceilings, and openings as well as but not limited to the installation of millwork, doors, frames, and hardware. ? Install other building materials such as sheathing, insulation, fixtures, waterproofing, caulk, and paint. ? Always exercise the proper use of PPE and exercise safety. ? Uphold company vision, core values, and standards. ? Involvement in regular meetings with Management, field staff, company-wide, training, etc. ? Regular attendance and punctuality are required. ? Operates safely in all conditions. ? Other duties and projects as assigned. ? Follows company policies and procedures.

Qualifications: ? High School Diploma or equivalent required. ? Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum is a plus. ? 4+ years' experience field carpentry ? Knowledge and experience working with carpentry tools and building materials. ? Understand the basics of plumbing. electric. and mechanical systems. ? Knowledge and understanding of construction safety devices and PPE. ? Professional attitude and appearance. ? Must be authorized to work in the United States.
