Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position supports Operations and Business Development by managing customer and vendor services, including processing customer orders, vendor onboarding, shipment coordination, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting. The role also includes coordinating site drivers and organizing their pick-up schedules to ensure efficient and compliant material handling for pre-processing and co-processing of kiln materials.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Accurately process and record customer, vendor, and internal transactions, including order entry, vendor shipments, invoicing, and documentation.

  • Coordinate daily logistics and scheduling of site drivers, ensuring timely and efficient pick-ups and deliveries.

  • Communicate regularly with transporters to arrange and confirm inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Manage material pre-qualification process for assigned Geocycle locations.

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of shipping documentation and regulatory reporting for Geocycle materials.

  • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support seamless operations.

  • Process and receive incoming shipments, including performing goods receipts in SAP.

  • Track and report on materials, invoices, and relevant KPIs as assigned.

  • Support ongoing training and development and perform other duties as needed.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Associate's degree

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Business

Required Work Experience: 1-3 years, CDL license preferred

Required Computer and Software Skills: Command, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Trimble, and Google Earth

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, especially in coordinating logistics and transportation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
