Adecco is currently recruiting for Machine Operator to work third shift in Northbridge, Massachusetts. This position is temp-to-hire as follows:
Overnight Sunday: 2 AM - 7AM (ending Monday Morning)
Overnight Monday: 1! PM to 7 AM
Overnight Tuesday: 11 PM to 7 AM
Overnight Wednesday: 11 PM to 7 AM
Overnight Thursday: 11 PM to 7 AM (ending Friday morning)
Additional 3 hours can be worked at the end of any shift in order to reach 40 hours for the week. Hourly pay for this role is $17.50, including base and shift differential.
This position packs product via a conveyor into drying racks, cardboard boxes or bins containing plastic bags. Packs finished products obtained from drying racks or storage boxes into plastic bags or cardboard boxes.

Requirements:
High School diploma; must be able to do simple math.
3-6 months' experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequently required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist.
Will lift and/or carry bulky objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.
Must be available to work overtime as necessary.
Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.
Responsibilities:
Removes product from conveyor belt and places product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
Packs product into drying racks, boxes or bags.
Using heavy-duty tape machines, cuts tape and wraps product for storage delivery.
Lifts and removes completed boxes or bags and places on/in designated location, wagon or pallet.
Receives verbal and written job assignments; reads and complies with product description and packing instructions on Quality/Production Data sheet.
Completes "Operator Production/Quality Report," packing report, worksheets and/or "special" customer requirement inspection forms where required.
Performs visual inspections and/or uses measuring devices such as scales, steel rule and calipers to ensure acceptable finished product quality. Notifies supervisor of discrepancies, and records required information on Operator Quality Report.
Inventories tape, labeling, bags, boxes, or drying racks and notifies Material Handler of items needed to get the job done.
Observes machine operation to detect any defects with finished product and notifies Supervisor of any problems.
Maintains good housekeeping and assures a neat and organized work area at all times.
May assist with material handling.
May assist others with less experience in a position.
Perform other duties as required by Supervisor requiring the same skills.

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
