organization located in Northbrook, is seeking a Temp-to-hire Inside
Sales Representative to work onsite Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, or text to ensure
customer satisfaction and to facilitate customer relationship
building process relative to product questions, issues,
requirements, lead times, prices, etc.
- Enter orders in Visual - both domestic and international .
- Assist in arranging both domestic and international shipments.
- Enter prospects, leads, notes in CRM.
- Use self personal initiative to get out in front of issues before
the BDM is involved especially since the BDM is occasionally away
from the office.
- Assist in arranging sales meetings or customer visits as the need
arises.
- Handle customer emails and telephone calls.
- Understand and review sales contracts for completion and accuracy
before forwarding to BDM for final approval
- Initiate the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process by getting
correct information from the customer, obtain approval before it is
turned over to the Service Department for
- Tracking sales leads from the time entered to the time when leads
are provided the BDM, and determine how long leads have been in the
system and how to help expedite and facilitate matters to minimize
or eliminate inquiries that are lost or delayed without turn around,
and then taking it back if they do not complete it to not lose the
opportunity or sale.
- Respond to and mitigate customer product issues and complaints.
- Monitor sales inbox emails, passing leads, orders and inquiries
along to proper company individuals - distributing same to BDM,
sales technicians, sales management or service technicians according
to subject matter, etc.
- Support sales projects as necessary and as such work arises.
- Has a basic understanding of export protocols to support
International BDM.
Skills:
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires experience and familiarity with a CRM program (use of
Salesforce preferred).
- Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office suite so as to be able to
assist in preparing sales analysis reports, Power Point
presentations, etc .
- Prefer some experience with technical products in order to be
comfortable interfacing with engineers and technicians both inside
and outside the company.
- Ability to communicate professionally with professional level
customers and technicians.
