Drive product quality improvement efforts by identifying manufacturing
issues, developing cost-effective solutions including scrap reduction,
and overseeing successful implementation of improvement methods into
production. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work
with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems
related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
Leverage advanced technology and solutions to monitor and improve
productivity, while ensuring customer commitments are met in a timely,
quality and cost-conscious manner. Responsible for determining processes
requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria,
execution and final analysis and acceptance. Develop new process and
workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean
manufacturing initiative. Resolve issues in situations that require good
technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Confer
with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures,
resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information. Develop,
coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of
manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system
malfunctions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree or U.S. equivalent in Electrical,
Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years
of professional experience implementing IT Quality Assurance and testing
procedures to identify manufacturing issues and develop cost-effective
solutions.
In lieu of a Bachelors degree plus 3 years of experience, the employer
will accept a Masters Degree or U.S. equivalent in Electrical,
Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of
professional experience implementing IT Quality Assurance and testing
procedures to identify manufacturing issues and develop cost-effective
solutions.
Must also have 1 year of experience in the following: utilizing
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; developing and
maintaining work plans, time schedules, project task lists, and status
reports; defining, tracking, and monitoring key success measures
associated with projects; evaluating downstream business systems,
processes, and organizational impacts and identifying risks and
barriers; and deploying and supporting change management and training
plan.
