Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to become part of our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations in Norwood, Massachusetts, where you'll handle a wide range of accounting functions for our manufacturing business. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will be crucial in managing our AP & AR cycles, overseeing check deposits, and generating various financial reports.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage check deposits and ensure they are accurately recorded
• Promptly send accounts receivable reminders to clients
• Generate diverse financial reports as needed
• Oversee weekly check run and monthly bank reconciliations
• Handle credit card reconciliations meticulously
• Maintain accurate data entry of payroll information
• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Conduct annual budget analysis and cash flow analysis
• Use Sage 50 for various accounting functions. Requirements • Mastery of Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is necessary
• Familiarity with Computerized Accounting Systems is required
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Comprehensive understanding of all Accounting Functions is vital
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is important
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Ability to prepare and manage Annual Budget is crucial
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis is needed
• Experience with Sage 50 is a significant plus
