Aston Carter Senior Accountant in Ocala, Florida

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! This position is a great way to earn Corporate Accounting experience!

Necessary Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant role

  • Public Firm or Manufacturing/Industrials Industry Experience

  • Microsoft Excel Experience

  • Accounting Degree

Job Description:

  • Enter daily cash applications, coordinate collections, prepare bank deposits, record all bank activity, prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Review and approve weekly check run.

  • Prepare check, wire and ACH payments.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements.

  • Assist with annual audit and tax return information gathering.

  • Oversee year-end 1099 reporting.

  • Lead annual physical inventory.

  • Prepare and update annual budget/forecast.

  • Month end / Year end / Quarter end.

  • Assist CFO with information for borrowing base reports and covenant compliance.

  • Will act as back up for HR/Payroll/Office admin duties.
