The Representative II Production Planning & Control for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Co. Clare is responsible for creation and maintenance of the manufacturing schedule as well as the control of workorders and material flow within the IA formulation department, an essential input to the manufacture IA immunoassay reagent kits.

This position is part of the Immunoassay team located in the Lismeehan site, Co. Clare and will be on site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

  • You will be a part of the Immunoassay team and report to the IA Formulation Supervisor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Creation of weekly/monthly schedules for IA formulation.

  • Creating and booking off all work orders for formulation area.

  • Ordering of consumables from Oracle.

  • Accurate stock reconciliation and initiation of IMR’s.

  • Updating production procedures to ensure they reflect current practices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering.

  • 2 years’ experience in a laboratory or industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of Oracle or an MRP system an advantage.
