Intensive Care Unit is a 16 bed, \"blended\" unit which includes medical
surgical intensive care beds and intermediate care beds. Schedule
Details:7pm - 7:30am, Requires every other weekend rotation, and
alternating holidays. What You Will Do: You will perform a range of
tasks including performing diagnostic tests, conducting follow-up
visits, monitoring patient recovery, and responding to medical
emergencies. In addition to having a highly analytical mindset, our
ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Assess, implement and coordinate
complex care and interventions Support a compassionate and therapeutic
environment for critically ill patients Provide comfort and prevent
suffering Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient\'s medical
condition. Collaborate with patients, their families, their healthcare
providers, and healthcare professionals Act as patient advocates Arrange
and oversee continuous monitoring and nursing vigilance Administer
pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments What You Will Need:
Associate\'s degree in nursing required, bachelor\'s preferred
Registered Nurse licensure in State of WI or the ability to obtain Basic
Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or ability to obtain
upon hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or ability
to obtain upon hire NIHSS Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
