Job Description:

As the Security Operations Lead at VarcoMac, you will be pivotal in delivering top-tier security and compliance services. This role demands technical mastery in critical areas such as Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection Systems. You will act as the primary contact for both customers and senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the delivery of security services, showcasing deep technical knowledge and ensuring compliance across all operations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and senior management, acting as the senior leader responsible for all facets of security operations, incident management, and compliance reporting services.

  • Manage the 24/7 security operations center, focusing on incident monitoring, intake, triage, response, remediation, and resolution.

  • Prioritize security incidents and compliance issues based on their risk and potential impact, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team comprising senior delivery managers, security engineers, and analysts. This includes conducting performance reviews, fostering professional growth, and managing hiring and training initiatives.

  • Guarantee that the execution of security operations, incident response, and compliance reporting meets the standards specified in the Statement of Work. Effectively manage changes and customer expectations within the constraints of ongoing projects.

  • Enhance the capabilities of our 24/7 service delivery, which includes optimizing staffing levels, refining service level agreements, and overseeing service delivery management.

  • Play a critical role in customer relationship management by handling change orders, offering quotes, and addressing queries related to budget, scope, and the quality of services delivered.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction levels and assist in securing contract renewals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in a security operations environment, with a strong background in systems like Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection.

  • Experience in managing high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and exceeding stakeholder expectations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.

  • Familiarity with service delivery management, customer relationship management, and contract negotiation.
