Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be part of an industry that requires meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. This role entails processing and handling customer transactions, maintaining an organized record system, and providing excellent customer service over the phone.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer billing transactions in a timely manner
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of customer accounts
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns effectively
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Utilize data entry skills to ensure accurate input of information into company systems
• Use mathematical skills to correctly calculate billing amounts
• Maintain a consistent work schedule to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Provide excellent customer service through phone interactions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service. Requirements • Possess strong skills in billing and data entry
• Exhibit proficiency in using various billing software
• Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
• High school diploma or equivalent education level
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
