Job Title: Registered NurseJob Description

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include determining, developing and implementing a plan of care based on accurate and comprehensive assessment of the patient’s needs through telephonic triaging. You will adhere to established medical/departmental policies, clinical practice guidelines, community resources, contracting and community care standards to each case. You will work with complex cases and promote the delivery of quality, cost-effective health care services based on medical necessity and contractual benefits. You will provide guidance to the provider network, set up appointments, follow up appointments, track down labs, etc. You will also coordinate follow ups, referrals and manage diabetes education. You will be working with a team and handling 15-30 calls for triaging each day. You will be working with Medicaid patients in a team atmosphere.

Hard Skills

  • Strong written, typing and verbal communication

  • Medical Terminology

  • Active RN license in OK

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Work Environment

This role is primarily a clinical setting. You will be working with a team, handling a high volume of calls each day, and will be in and out of patient rooms.
