This position ensures appropriate product levels for the supplies and materials necessary for production. (Located in Old Forge, Pa)

• Responsible for supplier relationships, purchasing strategies, and price negotiation.
• Must be able to communicate delays, changes or other concerns that impact the manufacturing floor, quality or engineering areas in a timely manner.
• Ensures appropriate product levels for the supplies and materials necessary for production.
• Has prior inventory control/ materials management experience
• Self motivated, hands-on
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Has the ability to multi-task and adjust to changes in business needs
• Highly organized
• Possesses strong business writing skills
• Manufacturing/assembly facility and international purchasing experience is highly preferred

Desirables:

• Successful candidate will have 3+ years supervisory experience (required)

• Successful candidate will have 5+ years purchasing experience (required)

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Internet

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift; Monday to Friday
