Overview

Direct divisional development, adoption, implementation and maintenance of the Physician Enterprise financial reporting, analysis, forecasting/planning and financial education. Highly involved with Physician Enterprise’s key financial information systems including but not limited to Axiom, Smartsheet, PDS, Epic Cubes, Lawson, and other systems requiring data utilization and analytics. Oversees and develops the processes to ensure an environment of effective decision-making, forecasting, and sound business/financial planning. Works closely with all levels of management in order to develop optimal managerial deliverables (monthly reports, budget, LRSFP and productivity). Collaborates with National Finance and National Physician Enterprise on the strategic and financial planning process including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and capital priorities. Key liaison between the finance team, Physician operations, system FPA, and National Physician Enterprise markets. Creates a forward-focused guiding vision and environment of “no surprises” and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Market Manager-Financial Planning and Analysis

  1. Work closely with leadership (hospital and physician enterprise) and providers, providing financial education, support and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making making.

  2. Key member contributing to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process under the guidance of national financial projections and targets. Quantify gaps to budget targets and identify plans to balance.

  3. Provide decision and analytic support expertise to support various financial and clinical projects as requested by management. Support Service Lines and other key PE services, providing data, reports and education as needed. Includes proforma development and tracking of progress through financial look-backs.

  4. Responsible for coordinating and developing management reports to provide meaningful information in strategic planning and strategic initiatives.

  5. Leader for other key bodies of work with in the division: capital allocation and tracking, grant/value based funding, special committees/work stream, key financial contact for managers/directors.

Qualifications

Required Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred

Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

Preferred: Five (5) - Seven (7) years in Finance and Accounting roles or a CPA firm, with three (3) to five (5) years emphasis on operational analysis in a leadership capacity.

Experience in a healthcare environment and computer systems preferred.

Pay Range

$42.49 - $61.61 /hour
