The Outside Sales Representative -Tyson isprimarily responsible for calling on key decision makers at retail grocery stores to sell our products, present & getnew itemsauthorized, sell in promos some merchandising. Followsour monthly priorities from the business managers for each client.  Helps supportstore events such as anniversary sales, demos, new store openings, remodel expansions, etc. with promotional selling/merch vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Visit the assigned stores for Tyson in the territory monthly.

  • Presentnew itemsfor our clients -Tyson andsecure orders for same.

  • Present promotional activity to store buyers and secure orders and if possibleoff shelfdisplays.

  • Reviewsdistribution on existing items to be sure they are being carried.

  • Assistin any merchandising needed for our products.

  • Supportsthe store on all special projects such as demos, trade events, remodels, new store openings, etc.

  • Maintain current knowledge of products we sell andnew items.

  • Maintain a rapport with regional managers of our clients.

  • Keep all informed of issues with stores, competitive activity, trends etc.

  • Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts.

  • Rotate stock, clean and stockdisplaysandtag/sign asappropriate.

  • Perform such duties as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assignedincluding but not limited to:

  • Pallet Jack Operation; heavy load hoisting, material packaging, pallet disassembly and assembly, material handling,supplier audits, productexpertise, and brand image alignment.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Two years prior grocery retail or CPG experiencerequired.

  • Must be able tolift upto 30 pounds.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.

  • Must be willing and able to work in extremelycold conditions(i.e.refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).

  • Ability to learn and understand safety standards.

  • Ability to Keep up with marketing trends and use that whenupselling

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with othersand be a team player.

  • Must be able to speak and hear.

  • Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull,graspand stand on a daily basis.

  • Must have good vision, dexterous use of both hands and be able tooperatea tablet, email, Zoom, and Excel.

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk forlong periodsof time.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
