Air Methods Quality Assurance Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska

Hours and Schedule: 40 hours a week/8 hour work day typically Monday through Friday. Education & Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) from two-year college or technical school preferred. • One (1) year Customer Service/Call Center, or Quality Assurance experience • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels. • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude. Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to explain processes, instructions, and procedures. • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines. • Dependable and self-motivated Computer Skills • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Responsible to monitor and evaluate the quality performance and data entry of the Communication Specialists and deliver feedback to the pertinent production staff. Enhance the overall accuracy of billing entries and flight data. Improve the overall performance of the staff as a result of their feedback and observation. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: • Conduct monitoring and Quality Assurance audits of Communication Specialists in accordance with current guidelines. • Provide feedback and observation to pertinent staff as a result of audit results. • Maintain up to date completion of all records in need of audit. • Provide and maintain a reporting system necessary to do proper analysis of audit results. • Manage and maintain the current QA technology and insure all staff is updated on a daily basis. • Provide proper follow up on necessary QA process “auto fails” to insure proper information is delivered to billing. • Assist in TAMMA, Post Flight Debrief, and other flight investigation which present. • Monitor and respond to billing related data inquiries. • Assist the floor leadership with mileage processing. Additional Job Requirements • Regular scheduled attendance • Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 1%Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
