This Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to: * Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, external customers, and vendors to support business functions, as needed. * Coordinate and process project contracts and procurement requirements. * Administer contract and subcontract setup and payments. * Review accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and proper coding, while maximizing efficiency. * Working with the ERP system (construction software package Viewpoint) to provide information for the business to operate efficiently. * Coordinate Accounts Payable/Receivables, Inventory, Cash Management, Equipment and Job Cost functions and protocols. * Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing procedures. * Work on special projects and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed. * As a leader, demonstrate organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently. * Cross-train in other areas of business as needed. Experience in preparation of financial statements. Proficient computer skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Complete multiple assignments and projects on a daily concurrently. Highly organized with strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work and lead in a team environment as well as independently.
