As a Land Survey Technician/Crew Chief, your days will be spent: Serving as the technical lead for survey efforts Conducting field survey efforts for roadway, site, and energy design projects using Trimble GNSS, S-Series Total Stations, and Trimble data collectors Providing support to construction projects and staff by collecting as-built documentation and/or staking improvements Accurately compiling survey data, calculations, and deliverables Communicating effectively internally and externally Researching previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records, to obtain data needed for surveys Processing survey work and deliverables, offering valuable input and contributing to project success ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: To excel from day one, you\'ll need: An Associate Degree in Land Surveying or related field, or applicable experience in lieu of education 3+ years of field survey experience A sense of ownership and collaboration in a team environment Proficiencies or desire to grow skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office A valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation, either personal or company vehicle, to travel to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences (this position primarily utilizes company provided vehicle(s)) To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://jt-engineering.com/careers/
