Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is an 80-bed long term and short-term facility, located in beautiful Oneonta, New York. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician.
Position is full-time with core schedule being Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
All Maintenance Techs are a part of an on-call rotation every 3-weeks.
We are seeking someone with trade experience (electrician knowledge preferred, HVAC, construction, etc.)
Will be supervised by the Director of Maintenance
Maintenance Tech Duties Include:
All aspects of facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical projects.
Painting resident rooms and other parts of the facility.
Lawn care and snow removal.
Moving materials from room to room.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements Include:
Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the United States.
Must be able to work as a team member.
Mechanical skills are preferred.
Any construction, HVAC, or trade knowledge a plus!
