General Summary:
COLSA is seeking an Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to work in support of PEO STRI in Orlando, Florida.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
Serve as the ISSO for tactical weapons simulation systems, ensuring full cybersecurity compliance.
Manage and maintain all system security documentation and security controls in eMASS, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Monitor security controls post-authorization via Government GRC portal to ensure continuous compliance with
security requirements for several PEO-STRI programs.
- Prepare and maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) approval
for a Closed-Restricted Network and connected systems.
Analyze security artifacts, POA&Ms, and risk assessments to maintain continuous system authorization.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
Conduct security audits, compliance reviews, and training to ensure security awareness across teams.
Provide cybersecurity risk advisory support to senior leadership, program managers, and system engineers.
Implement security controls for tactical weapons platforms, ensuring compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity frameworks.
Coordinate with PMs, developers, and cyber teams to integrate security into weapons platform design and sustainment.

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 plus years of work related experience.
CISSP Certification
Experience using Evaluate STIG
Knowledge using Tanium
Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings.
Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required;
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in VOIP, Secure VOIP, Virtual Server, Secure Virtual Desktop and Record and Playback projects
