JOB SUMMARY:
Leading a team that will install, maintain, service, rebuild, troubleshoot, repair, and operate all Industrial, Commercial, and noncommercial electrical equipment and utilities as it pertains to the continuous smooth operation of Universal Orlando Facilities Including: electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment from 12V to 15KV. This will include all main switch gear, main breakers, UPS units, generators, transfer switches, motors, motor control centers, high voltage transformers, high voltage air switches and all high voltage branch circuits.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and delegates work tasks.
Delegates work assignments among qualified crewmembers.
Communicates performance expectations in an effort to ensure proper completion of tasks.
Communicates and coordinates with other departments or crafts as needed.
Communicates resource needs and work plans to Supervision.
Provides two-way communications between work team, supervisor, and other management and HR personnel.
Actively reinforces company safety guidelines and programs; reports non-compliance.
Monitors employee’s productivity, work habits. Leads work startup and stoppage, schedules breaks.
Monitors care, condition, use and storage of tools, equipment and other UO property.
Maintains material inventories.
Monitors compliance with wardrobe/grooming standards, driving policy, radio usage, and other UO policies.
Ensures proper completion of documentation including providing feedback for recognition and performance improvement.
Captures written behaviors using the Lead Observation Report to support managerial and supervisory documentation.
Maintains and shares job knowledge, assists in training developing new and current employees.
Maintains, services and repairs all UO electrical infrastructure including but not limited to electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment. This is to include all main switches, motors, motor control centers, high voltage transformers, high voltage air switch and all high voltage branch circuits.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:

EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ Years: Required electrical experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility or a fast-paced service company dedicated to electrical repair.
3+ Years: Preferred electrical experience in theme park industry.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver's License required to operate company vehicles.
Must possess a Master Electrical License or Journeyman Electrical License.
