Job Title: Service Manager
Job Description
The Service Manager will oversee a Diesel Shop and all onsite Technicians. This role entails ensuring that technicians complete scheduled service appointments and perform preventative maintenance on trucks. Additionally, the Service Manager will communicate with customers to provide feedback on truck operations and malfunctions, maintain customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role also involves completing all necessary paperwork, including warranty documentation, and monitoring the production of all technicians throughout the shift to meet production goals and expectations.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Diesel Shop (hiring, firing, coaching)
Ensure technicians complete scheduled service appointments and perform preventative maintenance on trucks.
Communicate with customers to provide feedback on truck operations and malfunctions.
Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including warranty documentation.
Monitor the production of all technicians throughout the shift and set production goals.
Ensure the team meets demand and expectations.
Supervise technicians performing new vehicle pre-delivery DOT inspections and service/preventative maintenance on vehicles, including hydraulic and pneumatic service repairs.
Essential Skills
Experience with diesel engines and diesel maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.
Supervision and management experience.
Experience with DOT inspections and diesel technology.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5+ years of previous diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
