Your Opportunity as the Shift Leader, Security
Supervise shift Security Officers and operations under the direction of the Security Team Lead.Assign specified work and schedules for adequate shift coverage.Monitor compliance with all security posts/operations to encourages the highest level of security/customer service performance by Shift Officers.
Location: Orrville, OH
Work Arrangements: 100% onsite
In this role you will:
Oversee aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (access control, badging, key control, CCTV, staffing levels, post orders, patrols, daily activity reports, incidents, emergency response)
Assist in the ongoing training and development of security officers and conducts on-post training for new hire officers
Assist with security officer scheduling to maintain appropriate operational staffing levels
Report to and assist the Security Team Lead in matters concerning shift operations
Ensure weekly/monthly tasks are completed and documented
Continuously participate in performance of post duties (cover post breaks, assist where needed)
Complete mid-year and end-year evaluations of officers work performance
Provide superior customer service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism
Coordinates emergency response with EMS/LE and responds to emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established policies

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Prior armed security/Law enforcement experience
Prior direct people management or equivalent indirect leadership experience
Strong customer service skills
Detail oriented, takes initiative, and is adaptable to dynamic situations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability organize and manage multiple priorities
Strong problem solving and writing skills
Working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Must be able to obtain a Concealed Carry Weapons permit
Ability to qualify with a duty firearm
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
State Certified Peace Officer Training preferred
