Position Summary: Seeking a highly motived registered nurse to provide
professional nursing care to students at the University of Wisconsin
Oshkosh through assessment, planning, evaluation, and intervention to
ensure physical and mental well-being. Utilizing advanced assessment
skills and nursing protocols, the registered nurse will provide direct
care for minor acute illnesses, via in person and phone triage, and
manage clinic schedules to maximize clinic efficiency. The registered
nurse will take an active leadership role with supervising student
staff, assist with freshman student orientation, provide guest lectures,
and participate in outreach events. Must be able to perform clinical job
responsibilities independently with direct supervision guidance and
consultation by licensed, board-certified providers. Anticipated working
hours include 7:45am-4:30pm Monday through Friday during the academic
calendar with reduced or limited hours during scheduled academic breaks
and summer. This is a salaried position with a specific amount of
compensation regardless of the number of hours worked per day. Must
commit to a flexible work schedule which might include some evening
