The Senior Finance Specialist - Accounts Receivable will provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization’s business objectives. This role will perform Account Receivable functions: process transactions and customer account reconciliations, review and analyze credit accounts, (entailing frequent contact with outside information sources), and prepare reports for internal distribution. It is essential for this role to provide superior service to internal and external customers.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Build a strong working relationship with customers, both internal and external, domestic and international, government and non-government.

  • Managing monthly accounts receivable with moderate to minimal supervision. Contact customers to confirm receipt of invoices, obtain payment of outstanding accounts receivable, and remedy delinquency or non-payments.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of business transactions in support of assigned job responsibilities.

  • Maintain files, forms, and computer-based records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prepare accurate and timely transaction processing reports for internal management needs and audit reporting requirements.

  • Complete monthly/month-end or year-end activities.

  • Prepare vehicle certificate documents.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or cash applications.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of basic Finance and Accounting concepts, GAAP accounting principles

  • Previous credit collections and or cash applications experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
