JOB REQUIREMENTS: The EAA staff at the Gruenhagen Conference Center is
currently accepting applications for workers during the Oshkosh
AirVenture convention held July 16th - Jul 30th. We have openings for
Desk Receptionists and Guest Reservationists. Job Description: Provide
exemplary customer service to make for an outstanding UW Oshkosh
AirVenture lodging experience for the guest. Job roles will be in the
form of Desk Receptionist or Guest Reservationist. Hired staff team
members will be assigned to one of the roles based on interest and
experience. Desk Receptionistscheck guests in and out of assigned rooms,
maintain hall rosters and linen information, key inventory and control,
answer the telephone, give directions and provide information about the
university and city. Guest Reservationistsmodify existing reservations,
answer the telephone and generally assist the guests with the
registration process. Staff team members should enjoy directly working
with people and enjoy helping make the guest lodging experience
outstanding. Team members should be detail-oriented, be able to use
effective communication, effective computer skills, and work well under
pressure. Prior front desk and/or cash handling experience are a plus.
Compensation: \$11.00 per hour; plus time and half for any hours over 40
in a given time period Hours: Desk Receptionists: Various shifts to
cover 24 hours a day. Guest Reservationists: Various shifts to cover 24
hours a day Team members will work approximately 5-12 days between July
16th and July 30th based on their responsibilities and their building
