Responsibilities
As a successful Datacenter Project Manager, your success will be measured by:
Learning and living the One Microsoft culture and values. Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.
Empowering a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with CO+I’s safety programs and policies and completing compliance knowledge assessments.
Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
As a successful Datacenter Project Manager, your day-to-day work will include:
Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery.
Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams.
Perform day to day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality.
Perform demand readiness tasks (e.g. reservations, ordering, scheduling resources, submitting requirements) and coordinate/support execution
Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution.
Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling).
Technical College degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Applicable certifications: ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL, CDCP.
