The position of Sr. Operations Manager is within our Cardiometabolic and Informatics Business Unit located in Oslo, Norway. This role will manage all production activities in a site that is fully automated and highly complex. The Afinion (main product) business is a rapidly growing product.
Main responsibilities:
Own and execute the manufacturing supply plan in accordance with the S&OP process, managing a team of 160+ professional
Drives the adoption of standard performance processes and metrics associated with the MOS (Tiered performance) meetings, Site Goals and S&OP.
Proactively work on continuous improvement, operational excellence, cost optimization and streamlining of work processes.
Accountable for delivery of performance metrics and financial performance of product operations and all departments under remit, including delivery of annual financial CIP commitments to reduce cost.
Will develop and own the operations milestones within the annual OpEx roadmap.
Part of site operations management team.
Will establish and execute the site maintenance strategy to align with Abbott’s Maintenance Excellence program.
Ensures best practice tools, metrics and processes are utilized for demand and preventive maintenance. Aligns support structure of the team with production needs.
Supports site quality and compliance objectives. Ensure CAPA and non-conformance activities owned by Operations meet commitments and QMS requirements. May represent Operations in regulatory audits/inspections as SME. Ensures staff meet personal QMS training objectives.
Supports site EH&S objectives.
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree
Years of experience, both overall and any industry-specific experience needed: More than 5 years from pharmaceutical, medical device or similar.
Experience in managing a larger team (management of managers) for 5+ years
