We are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in the site of Ospiate di Bollate, Italy. He/She will be in charge of performing production analysis in the shift of competence, applying the deliveries received by the Quality Control Manager in terms of safety and environment, quality and quantity.

We count on you for:

Carrying out the production analysis during the shift of competence, applying the deliveries received by the expert on duty in terms of safety and the environment, quality and quantity:

• Carries out the production analysis according to the acquired professional knowledge, in executive autonomy within the defined methods and procedures.

• Cooperates in compliance with safety and environmental protection standards.

• Conducts the production lines entrusted to him according to the established working methods and in complete operational autonomy.

• Controls the operating parameters of the machines by providing their tuning and adjustment.

• Checks the status of the product during processing and the identity of the same.

• Completes the route plans and reports the results obtained during the process checks according to the instructions received.

• Applies the policies defined by the Company within the framework of the Hygiene, Quality, Safety and Environment regulations issued by the Management.

• Carries out the assigned security operations set out in the emergency plan.

Improving customer satisfaction within the quality management system:

• Applies in the fields of competence the Company’s procedures related to Quality

• Undertakes according to the Quality Policy of the Management

• Implements the plan of progress Quality according to the directions given

• Applies procedures related to his work

• Signals events and propose improvements

Ensuring safety, health, environmental protection, product stewardship and transport safety in its tasks

HSEPT = health, safety, environment, products, transport

RSPP = Head of Protection and Prevention Service Applies in the fields of competence the procedures of the Company related to HSEPT

• Is committed according to the HSEPT Policy of the Management

• Implements the HSEPT progress plan according to the given directions

• Knows and applies the HSEPT Site Manual

• Applies HSEPT procedures related to its work

• It ensures its roles and responsibilities as described in the HSEPT Roles and Responsibilities table, held by the Site Protection and Prevention Service Manager

• Complies with the rules of the Solvay Group

• Respects the law of the regulation applicable to the activities with the support of its service, Human Resources and HSE.

• Adopts and promotes an attitude of prevention and continuous improvement

• Ensures order and cleanliness of its facilities or office

• Carries out the assigned security operations set out in the emergency plan.

• Uses normal PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and special PPE included correctly.

• Uses the plants, processes, equipment take place in compliance with process and safety specifications.

• Participates in emergency plans, internal or external, in particular knows and hold its role as defined in the procedures

• Helps to carry out analyses (tree of causes for example), preventive and/or corrective actions HSEPT (from risk analysis, inspections, action plan, HSE visits, etc.)

You will bring:

• High School Diploma in Chemistry

• At least one year of Lab experience

• Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation (PHmetro - Karl Fisher - titolatori automatici - kit analisi acque - HPLC/GC)

• Willingness to work shifts (Ciclo continuo)

• Analytical and organizational skills.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
