Manpower is seeking Electromechanical Technician candidates for a client in Oviedo, FL who is focused on providing innovative, cost-effective engineered solutions to include Simulation and Training Hardware, Software and Support, and complex electromechanical assemblies to support maintenance and operator training. This a long-term opportunity that offers a fantastic entry point into a dynamic company. The ideal candidate will have prior electronic assembly experience to include soldering, attention to detail and is able to use a microscope which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Electromechanical Technician - Soldering
Location: Oviedo, FL
Pay: $18.00 - 20.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Schedule : Mon - Fri, 6:30am - 3:00pm; Mon - Thu, 6:30am - 4:00pm (off every other Friday)
What’s the Job?
Solder wires to circuit boards and assemble/solder components on PCBs.
Assemble a large variety of components, assemblies, and subassemblies with attention to detail.
Program products to ensure conformance to specifications.
Follow quality assurance procedures and communicate any quality issues effectively.
Utilize basic math skills as needed for assembly tasks.
What’s Needed?
Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience to IPC-610 Level II standard (Surface-Mount and Through-Hole, J-Hook, lay-up splices, solder cup) of PC Boards. RoHS soldering experience is a plus.
Experience with 32 - 24 awg wire
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
Excellent eyesight and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions and quality assurance procedures. Speak and read English fluently.
H.S. diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
