I am currently hiring PC Technicians with a government integrator. These are long term contract opportunities. These roles fully on-site throughout the United States.
Job Description:
Provide second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.
Offer support with problems that the first-tier of help desk is unable to resolve.
May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
May simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
Will recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
Will maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise.
Responsibilies:
Conduct software installation and configurations.
Preform technical, operational and training support to users of personal computers either by telephone or on-site for PC desktop hardware and software packages.
Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.
Troubleshoots printer, computer, and peripheral incidents.
Preforms hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, and resolves computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network.
Participates in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
Requirements:
Secret OR Top Secret clearance
CompTIA A+, Net+, OR Sec+
1-3 years of IT experience
Ability to relocate throughout the US
