Description Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately permanent a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department.   • Evaluate reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

  • Build management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Research compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

  • Keep historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

  • Be in charge of human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Be familiar with and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

  • Be responsible for exit interviews and procedures

  • Manage all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  • Attend interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  • Build up the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

  • Educate employees such that they follow all policies and procedures Requirements - Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field

    • Impeccable ethics, integrity, and standards

    • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

    • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

    -4+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

    • Ability to view issues without prejudice

    • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired

    • Proactive in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

    • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

    • 8+ years in human resources

    • Proficient with HR software and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    • Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

    • An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
