How will you make an impact?

The Customer Service Representative will provide high level service to internal and external customers with the goal of maintaining meaningful business relationships. Our ideal candidate will be customer oriented, an advocate for Thermo Fisher Scientific, and be eager to drive growth.

  • Provide professional communication via phone and email to our customers and internal support teams.

  • Use our sales order entry system, website, and knowledge base resources to provide accurate and timely assistance with order placements and status inquiries (pricing, availability, order status, shipping details, etc.).

  • Manage and influence customer satisfaction by demonstrating tact, sensitivity, and integrity.

  • Follow established service quality standards and meet order / inquiry processing time standards (talk time, order accuracy etc.).

Start Date: This internship is set to begin September 2024 and end September 2025.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor student currently pursuing a degree.

  • Two years of related customer experience preferred, but not essential.

  • Experience using computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Native (or proficient) in English.

  • Internship will fulfill a 12-month University placement within curriculum.

  • Ability to be onsite – this is not a remote opportunity.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional presence.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom. Applicants must confirm UK Citizenship or the right to work for a 12-month placement.
