West Virginia Employer Service Technician in Parkersburg, West Virginia

16.00 hour more based on experience. Qualifications: Experience in small engine repair, outdoor power equipment maintenance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, electrical diagnostics, and fuel systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Diagnose and repair small engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components on lawn and garden equipment. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, belt replacements, blade sharpening, and filter changes. Troubleshoot and repair fuel systems, carburetors, ignition systems, and hydraulic components. Assemble and set up new equipment per manufacturer specifications. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality. Keep accurate service records of work performed and parts used. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering maintenance tips.
