Accounts Payable Specialist

Parsippany, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, receipts, W-9s, and 1099s accurately and in a timely manner

  • Ensure compliance with general accounting principles and company policies

  • Manage vendor relationships, including payment inquiries and dispute resolution

  • Oversee insurance-related AP tasks and ensure proper documentation

  • Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate records and support audits as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience (Level 2 expertise)

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and AP best practices

  • Experience handling W-9s, 1099s, and vendor management

  • Proficiency in AP software and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
