Data Transformation Lead Developer wanted by Emergency Medicine Business Intelligence Inc. dba d2i, located in Boonton, NJ. Responsibilities include:Advanced Data Integration Strategies: Develop and implement advanced data integration strategies to streamline the acquisition, transformation, and utilization of electronic health record data. Explore innovative approaches to enhance data quality and accessibility;Solution Architecture and Design: Collaborate with solution architects to design data integration solutions that align with the unique needs of healthcare clients. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in data integration processes;Advanced Scripting and Development: Develop complex scripts and programs, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio, Python, SQL Server, Oracle, MYSQL, and T-SQL. Automate data transformation processes for efficiency;Data Transformation Innovation: Innovate data transformation techniques to ensure seamless data normalization and cleaning. Explore cutting-edge methods to harmonize data from diverse sources;Healthcare Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EMR) systems, including Epic EMR (Clarity database), Cerner EMR (CCL scripting language), Meditech Expanse EMR (EM module), Medhost EMR, and PulseCheckED EMR, to facilitate seamless data integration from these systems;Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data integration processes for performance and efficiency. Implement strategies to reduce processing time and resource utilization;Process Automation and Alerts: Develop automated processes to minimize human intervention in data processing, including alerting mechanisms to notify team members in case of data anomalies or issues;System Expansion: Collaborate with the technical team to design and implement database structures and blueprints for new clients and expansions. Emphasize data security, integrity, and preparedness for potential cyber threats;Client Meetings and Technical Assessment: Assist the d2i technical team during client meetings, offering insights into technical challenges and evaluating workflow feasibility from a purely technical perspective;Responsibilities for junior developers which include mentoring, coaching, training, and reviewing performance;Advisory Responsibilities: Review, research, advise, and make strategic recommendations to include, but not be inclusive of, data architecture, data integration strategies, and data flow optimizations to company executives; andProject Management Responsibilities: Develop and communicate project plans, then collaborate with cross-functional project teams, which can include client resources and other project stakeholders to successfully execute.Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or in Any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include: • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio for Microsoft Visual Studio for BI Integration Services. Specific to Healthcare data manipulation from multiple EMR's;• 2 years of experience with Python or any scripting language for automating data workflows, conducting data analysis, and implementing machine learning models in the context of healthcare data;• 2 years of experience with SQL Server for managing and querying large healthcare databases, optimizing queries for performance, and ensuring the seamless integration of healthcare data into applications;• 2 years of experience with Oracle for database management and optimization within the healthcare sector, particularly for handling large-scale datasets from diverse sources like electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical imaging systems;• 2 years of experience with MySQL for designing, maintaining, and querying healthcare databases, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and security in compliance with industry standards;• 2 years of experience with T-SQL for developing and optimizing Transact-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions specific to healthcare data, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation;• 2 years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) / Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for understanding the structure, standards, and interoperability of electronic health record systems. This includes familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange standards; and • 2 years of experience with BI ETL Development for designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, with a focus on Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes tailored to healthcare data. This involves integrating data from various sources to create meaningful insights and reporting dashboards for healthcare professionals.JOB LOCATION: Company HQ located in Boonton, NJ.
