Langan is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to join its team at its Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. While assigned to the Parsippany office, this role offers great workplace flexibility within a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. The Learning & Development Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Learning & Development department, responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and administration of training programs and activities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your learning and development capabilities and ensure a smooth and effective learning experience through training logistics planning, management, certifications, record tracking, providing comprehensive support to trainers & trainees, and more. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Manager of Learning & Development, subject matter experts, and presenters to formulate comprehensive training schedules and logistics that are well-organized, efficient, meticulously planned and executed;Manage the logistics of training sessions by securing venues (internal and external), equipment and materials, and ensuring their readiness for each training event;Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate virtual training sessions via WebEx, Teams, etc. when required;Maintain accurate and detailed training records, attendance records, and training evaluation data, and generate reports as necessary for compliance and informed decision-making;Distribute training evaluations to participants after each training session, capturing valuable insights for ongoing improvement;Organize and maintain training resources, including PowerPoint presentations, job aides, training manuals, handouts, and online resources, ensuring their currency and accessibility for all stakeholders;Schedule and oversee training dry runs and debrief sessions between the Learning & Development team and presenters, ensuring that training sessions are well-prepared and continually improved;Manage and update Langan's training calendar, the training mailbox, and SharePoint sites to ensure accurate and up-to-date information;Provide assistance in the editing and refinement of PowerPoint presentations created by subject matter experts or presenters, ensuring their quality, consistency, and effectiveness;Apply for professional development accreditation (CEU’s or PDH’s) for courses and ensure adherence to regulatory standards;Prepare creative announcements and descriptions of courses for publication and searchability;Professionally manage and respond to training-related calls and inquiries; andPerform other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Psychology or related field;2+ years of experience in training, instructional design or a related field;Familiarity with training and development principles, practices, and methodologies;Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Canva and Camtasia proficiency a plus;SharePoint or electronic file management systems experience a plus;Highly self-motivated;High level of attention to detail and organization;Excellent interpersonal skills and positive demeanor;Strong verbal and written communication skills - proper grammar is essential;Ability to identify and analyze challenges, and develop effective solutions;Ability to work independently, remain flexible, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;Sound judgment and problem-solving ability; andExcellent customer service and diplomacy skills.
