Precise Systems, Inc. Sr. Acquisition and Training Analyst/Product Consultant in Patuxent River, Maryland

We are currently seeking a Sr. Acquisition and Training Analyst/Product Consultant. The incumbent will be responsible to support NAVWAR PEO MLB Acquisition Management System (AMS) tool set implementation and training. This is a remote position but will require an occasional on-site attendance. They will be responsible for full integration of the AMS tool set which will include both the education of senior leadership in how to the use and manage with visualizations/reports as well as educating them on all the lessons learned in the NAVAIR implementation. They will be responsible to interface with senior leadership on AMS implementation and communicate those needs directly to senior leadership. They will serve as the interface between NAVWAR PEO MLB leadership and PMW Programs.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting technical end-user training programs on behalf of a government customer. The candidate will produce reports and visualization support and provide varied format end-user training sessions. The Technical Product Consultant will interface regularly with technical SME’s (e.g., developers, web designers, system administrators, and application experts). The candidate needs to possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently.

Management responsibilities include:

  • Product Implementation and Interface

  • Coordinate new customer AMS Implementation.

  • Develop Implementation schedules with PMW PMT status reviews

Training responsibilities include:

End-User Training:

  • Deliver in-depth technical end-user training utilizing various formats to include conventional instructor led demonstration; computer lab-based; distance/virtual formats; and 1 on 1 individual session

    AMS Product Integration:

  • Actively participate in the enforcement Configuration and Change Management of AMS applications.

  • Support new application town halls and user acceptance testing.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of (10) ten years acquisition experience using AMS/PMT desired.

  • Candidate must have a strong acquisition background with extensive hands-on experience in contract development and management of the DoD procurement process.

  • Candidate must have experience in leading teams in the development of contracting documentation to support the procurement process.

  • Candidate must be a self-starter and able to manage large projects without supervision.

Highly Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products to include the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience supporting a Government organization.

  • Public speaking and presentation

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience for each year of non-degree

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must currently have or be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Work Site/Travel Requirements:

  • Remote Telework as well as Travel may be required and will vary based on the needs of users/customer.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
