$45,000 up to $55,000 depending on experience
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our office. The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the office, supporting the economic development team, and contributing to the success of our initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures, ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering necessary items.
Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events, including logistics and preparation of materials.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Oversee and manage office budget, expenses, and financial records. Maintain and oversee QuickBooks accounts and financial records.
Provide administrative support to the economic development team, including project tracking and data management.
Liaise with external partners, stakeholders, and community members to facilitate communication and collaboration. Including the development of press releases and other communication pieces.
Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
Maintain a welcoming and professional office environment.
Assist in the planning and execution of economic development programs and initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the office.
*Qualifications:*
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Preferred experience as an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and QuickBooks
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting and budgeting principles.
Experience in a public sector or economic development setting is a plus.
