Matheny is a special hospital for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Duties of this positon include:

  • Install, configure and maintain back-end systems including SAN, VMware, Veeam, SQL Server, RSA on premises Exchange, IIS, ADFS and DNS. Perform regular system upgrades.

  • Responds to technical support request promptly with effective solutions.

  • Administer and maintain Windows active Directory including users, groups, permissions and group policies.

  • Deploy SSL certificates for a variety of applications and systems.

  • Work with routers, switches, firewalls to enhance the security, reliability, performance and scalability of the organization's network infrastructure.

  • Plan, perform and oversee hardware software and network repairs, upgrades and migrations to keep the infrastructure optimally aligned with technological advancement.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Information Systems Department to design, improve and implement best practices and procedures that ensure that he computing infrastructure meets current and future business needs.

  • Stay current with developments in the external environment including technological, regulatory and security aspects.

  • Other duties and assignments as required.

  • May require occasional nights and or weekends.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university required.

5+ years of work experience

Some office365, Azure and AWS experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

Microsoft Administrator, VMWare VCP and Veeam VMCE certifications preferred
