Job Title: Field Service Technologist
Wage: $83,762.00 per year

Duties and position description:
- Assists Engineers and other technical staff with technical problems, project management issues and safety requirements;
- Technical liaison and assistance, direction and specialized expertise on engineering analysis, best practices and standards;
- Contribute expertise and technical experience to ongoing projects and assist engineers with the solving of practical problems occurring on various projects;
- Inspect equipment to collect field data and information in support of engineering work being conducted;
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, service, repair and maintain low, medium, high voltage electrical system equipment in connection with Engineering work and projects;
- Setup and perform electrical testing on the following equipment: Transformers - power factor, TTR, winding resistance, insulation resistance, excitation and oil analysis; MV and HV conductors - VLF Tan Delta, Partial Discharge, VLF Withstand, DC Hipot Withstand; Circuit Breakers - primary injection, secondary injection, contact resistance, insulation resistance; Automatic Transfer Switch -troubleshooting; Switchgear - Low, Medium and High voltage testing and maintenance; Relays - electromechanical and solid-state testing;
- Properly check in and check out test equipment utilizing the company provided system reporting any damaged or unusable equipment;
- Prepare and submit daily reports outlining job progress/completion in support of Engineering projects and work.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certificate
- Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
- NETA Certified
