Description:
• Follows instructions for roll handling and packaging
• Assists teammates in the efficient production of high-quality products
• Assists operators in set-up of converting machinery
• Responsible for inspecting final products for quality and quantity
• Verifies proper finished product weight and packaging
• Ensures packaging materials are pulled and ready at the machine centers
• Uses pallet jack to move product as needed
• Operate forklift/pallet jacks to stage products
• Assists with daily maintenance of machine as well as cleaning/housekeeping of work area
Requirements and skills:
Previous experience as a production worker or similar role in a warehouse
Good understanding of how production equipment works
Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to read and interpret tape measure
High School Diploma/GED
Pay: 16/hr paid weekly with gaurnteed $1 pay raise when brought on direct

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds from ground level.
