Role Overview:

As a senior backend specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud solutions on the AWS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, proficiency in AWS services, and expertise in software development.

This role is particularly exciting as it involves supporting services related to tire sidewall details recognition and tread depth analysis, delving into cutting-edge AI topics at the forefront of technology innovation.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with our AI research and development team to integrate cloud-based infrastructure seamlessly with AI models, optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

  • Collaborate with data scientist, software engineers and architects to design scalable and reliable cloud architectures.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.

  • Develop APIs to facilitate seamless integration between cloud-based services and client applications, ensuring accessibility and flexibility.

  • Optimize performance and reliability of cloud applications and infrastructure.

  • Support SageMaker and MLOps initiatives by integrating machine learning models into cloud environments, enabling efficient model training, deployment, and monitoring.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, applications and APIs.

  • Stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and industry trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a AWS backend developer or similar role, with minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) serverless architecture, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other relevant services.

  • Thorough knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tooling such as AWS CDK or Terraform

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.

  • Experience in developing REST APIs and WebSocket applications using API Gateway, Lambda functions, and associated components.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CodePipeline and Git.

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of cloud-based applications and services.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Willingness to travel for project (15%).

  • Good English language skills (written & spoken).
