Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, particularly in an industrial setting. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The electrician will work with high voltage systems, logic controllers, and various hand tools while interpreting schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.

  • Work with high voltage systems and ensure all installations meet NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts.

  • Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in a commercial setting.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and logic controllers.

  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards.

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with assembly, hydraulics, mechanical systems, hand tools, power tools, construction, installation, schematic and wiring diagrams, panel building, preventive maintenance, mechanical assembly, welding, and diesel engines.

Work Environment

First shift, 8am-4:30pm M-F, with occasional early starts at 6am if needed. The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates will be building machines that fabricate sheet metal for HVAC ducts, ensuring a hands-on and dynamic workday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pevely, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
