Reliance Family Care Services, Inc. Direct Support Professional in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals in achieving their goals
  • Monitor and record vital signs and overall health status
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic care
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals with developmental disabilities

Experience:

  • Prior experience in senior care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient care techniques
  • Ability to administer medications following prescribed protocols
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Background in social work or related fields is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
