The Finance Coordinator will support various areas within the Treasury and Tax department’s group. Key characteristics that this individual must possess include organizational skills, computer skills (including knowledge of MS Office with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint), attention to detail, and a desire to learn. This person must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

The Finance Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President – Treasury, Tax, and Real Estate. This position will be based in Enviri’s Corporate Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Primary responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

Tax/Treasury Compliance and Reporting (50%)

  • Prepare 1042’s,1099’s and 1099 B Notices

  • Responsible for Filing Annual Reports and Franchise Tax Reports

  • Prepare Reports of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR’s)

  • Prepares Form 3921 Exercise of an Incentive Stock Option

  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Assist with preparing management PowerPoint presentations and ad-hoc reports

  • Preparation of U.S wire payments and FX confirmations (domestic and Foreign)

Administration (50%)

  • Prepares documents, tables, presentations, correspondence, and reports in accordance with established department guidelines, standards, and timetables.

  • Responds to requests for information, tracks down required information, answers and responds to inquiries.

  • Reconcile department purchasing card transactions monthly. Ensure all receipts are accounted for and document each payment. Send out for approval and to Accounts Payable for processing monthly payments

  • Coordinates and works with employees in the department to complete complex activities and special projects. Maintains and administers department processes. Assists staff with special projects.

  • Assists department staff with schedule coordination. Serves as primary contact for all department members when they are traveling to maintain consistent customer service and coordinate customer support.

  • Update and maintain the Department’s filing and database management system.

  • Manage filing and posting of documents to portals.

  • Responsible for paying invoices for the tax and treasury departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude

  • High proficiency in word processing, Excel, and Powerpoint as well as a comfort and knowledge of computer applications in general

  • Strong proficiency with numbers and “bookkeeping-type” responsibilities

  • Ability to consistently and accurately judge when to consult and when to act independently

  • Extraordinary attention to confidentiality; able to act in a discrete manner and routinely handle confidential information

  • Extraordinary attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully work with multiple priorities and deadlines, which may change frequently

  • Excellent composition and writing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a similar position.

  • Commitment to continual learning/skill building

  • Eagerness to be “involved,” i.e., not just finish a task, but understand and work within the team towards the bigger project, Department or Company goal
