What we offer
General Job Description: This is juvenile detention security guard work for the Department of Human Services' Juvenile Justice Services Center on an assigned shift. Employees in this class are responsible for patrolling and observing the activities in and around the facility, responding to security situations, preventing unauthorized access to the facility, and transporting staff. Contact with the general public and notifying the proper authorities to escalate security threats or safety issues is a significant aspect of the work.
The Requirements are as follows:
EDUCATION: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth school grade.
AND
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience performing protective work enforcing security and conduct, rules, and regulations for a commercial or industrial building or facility.
